Most people often associate the word holistic with spirituality. In the context of AI and digital technology, however, it has a different meaning. It indicates that a project is approached from as many relevant perspectives as possible, depending on the AI question or goal, context and requirements. In relation to AI, a holistic approach helps to solve, integrate and/or achieve the stated question, problem or goal of an organisation or company efficiently and successfully. For example, it helps organisations and companies make optimal use of AI systems and get them rooted in the way they work, including workplace culture. For AI suppliers and developers, this approach can support the further development of AI systems and increase adoption by aligning well with customer needs. Because of its broad and overarching applicability, AISS uses the holistic approach to provide tailored support.
