AISS — Approach
Approach • Human-centred and practical

From question to implementation: a clear approach

Every AI challenge needs an approach that fits. That’s why I work step by step, closely with your team, to make AI truly usable and valuable for your organisation.

My approach in 6 steps

From first contact to aftercare: every engagement follows the same core, tailored to your situation. This ensures AI is not only implemented, but also adopted — and continues to perform.

1

Introduction & intake

We start with a non-binding conversation to explore your AI question and context. You’ll get immediate clarity on what’s needed and which direction best matches your goals.

2

Deep dive & analysis

I get to know your organisation: stakeholder conversations, observing workflows, and mapping needs, data, systems and risks. This creates a complete picture of what matters.

3

Strategy & planning

Based on the analysis, I translate findings into a concrete plan: steps, priorities and prerequisites. From use-case selection to governance agreements — everything is clearly documented.

4

Implementation & guidance

Plans move into action. I support preparation, integration, training and adoption. The goal: AI that fits your workflows and is embraced by your team.

5

Evaluation & monitoring

After go-live, monitoring remains essential. We define KPIs, evaluate performance and safeguard quality — so AI stays reliable and you keep control over risks and outcomes.

6

Aftercare & self-reliance

The end goal is self-reliance. I provide knowledge transfer, documentation and remain available for questions — so you’re ready for today’s and future AI developments.

What happens in the first call?

In the intake, we get to know each other and zoom in on your AI question. You’ll leave with clarity on the best next step and what’s needed to get there.

What we cover

  • Stakeholders and context of the challenge
  • What has priority (the core problem)
  • Budgets and timing
  • Intended goals and a high-level approach
  • Conditions for a concept proposal (collaboration, setup, etc.)

After the call

If it’s a good fit, I translate scope and deliverables into a clear proposal. Then we start with a short sprint, workshop or engagement — depending on what best fits your question.

Ways of working

Depending on your question, we work in a short sprint, a longer engagement, or via targeted review and advice sessions. Always with clear agreements, ownership and practical output.

Workshop / sprint

In 1–3 sessions we make decisions: scope, criteria, risks, a roadmap or implementation steps. Ideal when you need clarity quickly.

Guidance / engagement

I work alongside your team(s) to embed implementation, adoption and monitoring properly. This can run from a few weeks to several months, depending on scope.

What I need from your team

Access to relevant information and engagement from the right people are crucial. I typically need:

  • Access to relevant information and data (where legally permitted)
  • Involvement of stakeholders (users, IT, management, etc.)
  • Openness about workflows, challenges and goals
  • Willingness to experiment and adjust where needed

Safety & compliance

Confidentiality and compliance are central. Before we start, all legal and privacy aspects are clearly agreed and documented.

Contractual safeguards

At the start, I involve my legal advisor to set up an agreement that fits the engagement. This protects your interests as well as AISS’s.

GDPR & EU AI Act readiness

All work aligns with GDPR and, where relevant, the EU AI Act. Privacy, transparency and safety are embedded in every step of the process.
